Everything
you might wonder.

None at all. Most guests arrive as complete beginners, and our coaching is built around first-timers — the bays here are about as forgiving as water gets. Already surf or wing? We’ll happily push you further.
A friendly mix, mostly aged 30 to 60, and 60–70% travel solo. You’ll be in good company — shared breakfasts, dinners and the communal hub mean nobody stays a stranger past the first morning.
Most guests come for a full week, Saturday to Saturday — long enough to genuinely progress. Stays start at five nights; longer is always possible, just ask.
Absolutely. Plenty of guests come as pairs or small groups — you simply get the social side as a bonus. Tell us when you book and we’ll sort rooming to suit you.
Your private room, daily breakfast and communal dinners, all coaching, all equipment, return airport transfers and every tax and fee. You bring a swimsuit; we handle the rest.
Yes — it’s our most popular week. Surf the glassy mornings, wing the afternoon trades, with the day planned around what the bay is actually doing.
It rarely goes quiet on both fronts — that’s the beauty of the spot. Calm mornings are for surf; the afternoon trades are for wing. If conditions shift, your coach reshuffles the day around them.
Yes. Our guests arrive with every kind of fitness. Sessions are paced to you with plenty of rest, and the right equipment does a lot of the work. You’ll be tired in the good way, not broken.
Small. We cap surf and wing coaching at roughly one coach to four guests, so you get real attention and water time — not a queue.
Every room is a private ensuite with air-conditioning, a ceiling fan and crisp 100% cotton sheets. Calm palette, generous beds — boutique comfort, no dorms.
Daily breakfast and a run of communal dinners around one long table, all fresh and made on site. A couple of evenings the kitchen rests and Cabarete’s beach restaurants take over, two minutes away.
We do — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and most allergies are no problem with a little notice. Tell us once when you book and the kitchen remembers all week.
Yes — a saltwater pool in a palm-shaded garden, and wifi across the property. After a day on the water, you’ll sleep (s)well.
Fly into Puerto Plata (POP) — nonstop from Miami, New York, Boston and Toronto — then it’s a 25-minute transfer we arrange. Santiago (STI) and Santo Domingo (SDQ) are alternatives within an easy drive.
No. The breaks, the restaurants and Cabarete Bay are all walkable or a short ride away, and your transfers are included — so a car is one less thing to think about.
Less than you think: a swimsuit, reef-safe sunscreen, a hat and something for dinner. Boards, wings, foils and rashguards are all provided, and the water’s warm enough that you won’t need a wetsuit.
Because we’re a small place that books up, deposits and balances are non-refundable — so travel insurance that covers cancellation and water sports is essential. There’s full detail on our Terms page.
